Our Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons are accredited Consultants within the National Health Service with established reputations in their field of expertise, in addition to running successful independent  private practices  in north London, the City of London and Oxford.   Please go to our Contact page for further details.

As well as specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of medical eye conditions, and the provision of medico-legal reports, Mr Paul Rosen also specialises in cataract surgery, vitreo-retinal surgery, laser treatment for diabetic retinopathy and certain types of macular degeneration as well as laser refractive surgery and clear lens surgery.

Rhodri Daniel has been Director of Primary Care and Accident & Emergency Service at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust since 1993.

He is Lead Clinician to Moorfields Outreach Services in north London.

Adviser to the Primary Care Working Group Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

Member of the Ophthalmic Group Committee of the British Medical Association for North Thames.

Mr Daniel has an interest in general ophthalmology, medical ophthalmology, eye injuries, neurology and diabetes applied to the eye.
He has contributed to the literature in general medical and specialist journals and is actively involved in teaching undergraduates and post graduates through the teaching division of Moorfields.

Mr Daniel takes an interest in medico-legal aspects of ophthalmology and has completed training in adversarial and alternative dispute resolution in this field.

Registered with the General Medical Council as a Specialist in Ophthalmology.

Paul Rosen has been Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Oxford Eye Hospital since 1993 and Head of Department from 1998 to  2004.

He is also a senior lecturer at the University of Oxford.

He was runner-up in the Hospital Doctor of the Year Award 2002.

Visiting Ophthalmologist  Refractive Service  Moorfields Eye Hospital.

President of the UK and Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

Medical Editor  of Eurotimes, a publication of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) since 1997.

Elected Council member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), the only European organisation to represent Surgeons doing cataract, refractive and corneal surgery.

Mr Rosen is an Honour Award recipient from the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
